Multi-proXS has been used extensively in timber / steel frame and volumetric / modular manufacturing for applications which go beyond the properties of other building materials. Benefitting from additional layers of highest quality reinforcing mesh our board combines Category 1 racking strength with excellent handling, cutting and fixing properties. Capable of being screw fixed or gun nailed within 9mm of edge of the board without risk of breakout or rupture the board is a firm favourite with manufacturing facilities all across the UK. During transport from factory to site the tough nature and high impact resistance minimises any risk of damage occurring during the construction phase.
Resistant are active members of the Structural Timber Association with participation on the PR & Marketing Committee and are proud to have been awarded the STA Assure Gold accreditation. This scheme offers reassurances to the construction community that STA Members meet or even exceed current legislation and regulatory requirements.
Multi-proXS has passed the STA Small Room Fire Test at BRE and is named throughout Product Paper 4 of the HSE endorsed STA Design Guide to Separating Distances During Construction. Simply by replacing 9mm OSB3 with a layer of 9mm Multi-proXS provides a 5 point wall assembly to help achieve an overall Category C timber frame solution and construct timber frame projects adjacent to existing buildings.
In addition Multi-proXS offers a range of 60 / 90 & 120min UKAS tested fire resistance partition solutions encompassing single layers of board either side of the partition.
Multi-rend is a high strength, durable and fast fit exterior carrier board ready to receive a range of finishes including direct render, brick slip, real stone and many more. Easily fitted in either the production facility or onsite the lightweight nature of the system perfectly compliments lightweight structures and removes slow trades such as bricklaying from the critical path of the construction programme.
