Fireguard is an A1 Non-Combustible Reaction to Fire calcium silicate building board, available from our landed stocks, which works to ensure the structural integrity of steel when exposed to fire.
Fireguard boards are screw fixed to small section light gauge steel channels, in turn fixed back to structural steel columns and beams.
The Fireguard boards are applied in various thickness and can be made up of multiple layers to achieve the desired period of fire resistance protection.
