VipaBoard Insulated Tile Backer

VipaBoard Insulated Tile Backer board carries BBA Certification and is the only insulated tile backer board manufactured in the UK. Comprising of an extruded foam core with a reinforced cement layer applied to both faces the board is suitable for use in conjunction with solid and stud walls and as an overlay to all kinds of structural floors.

Resistant stock the board in 6 / 10 / 12.5mm thickness in handy size 1200x600mm for working in small spaces and 12.5mm thickness in the larger size of 2400x600mm and 2400x1200mm for fast fitting. Generally 6 & 10mm thickness are commonly selected for flooring overlay tiling substrates whilst 12.5mm is selected for wall tiling. When tiling on to timber stud work the studs should be located at maximum 400mm centres. Always select a good quality cement based, flexible tile adhesive that meets classification C2 S1 grade or above. Solvent based and ready mixed adhesives should not be used.
